Hotel in Sölden next to the gondola base station

When we chose the location for our hotel in 1958, Gaislachkogl gondola didn't even exist yet. It was built eight years later in 1966. It was truly a stroke of luck that our hotel in Sölden is now just 100 meters from the base station of this legendary mountain lift. Gaislachkogl gondola whisks you comfortably up to over 3,048 meters in just a few minutes. It is the starting point for breathtaking summit hikes and gives access to the endless slopes of Sölden's ski area. The location offers many more advantages as the skibus stops right outside the front door and the village center of Sölden - with après-ski scene, sports shops and everything else you need - is easily accessible on foot.

Gaislachkogl summer mountain lift takes you directly up to 3,048 meters above sea level. The starting point for some of the most beautiful hikes within Ötztal. Those who prefer to stay lower down can start their adventures from here into Ötztal's boundless hiking and biking paradise: over 1,600 kilometers of marked hiking trails of all difficulty levels, 850 kilometers of mountain bike trails, the Bike Republic Sölden and the RollinG Bike Park - they all start here.

Golden
autumn

Your hotel nestled between forests and mountains.

When the mountains glow in shades of yellow, orange and red, splendid Ötztal is one of the most beautiful spots in the Alps. The hiking trails are quieter, the air clearer, the mountain huts quainter. And Gaislachkogl gondola takes you to the most amazing vantage spots. The glacier ski areas of Tiefenbach and Rettenbach open as early as October and offer fantastic snow conditions. The skibus to these glacier areas stops right in front of the hotel.

Ski hotel in Sölden near Gaislachkogl gondola base station.

The top-to-bottom ski run of Sölden's ski area ends 100 meters from our hotel. There you will also find Gaislachkogl gondola lift that takes you right into the heart of the Sölden ski area. The skibus stops just outside the hotel and takes you effortlessly to all six Ötztal ski areas. More than 356 kilometers of slopes, 89 mountain lifts, altitudes up to 3,340 meters. Explore them all with the Ötztal Super Skipass.
